Retrieve available insurance agent records using a PAN-based lookup through the RPACPC Insurance Agent Verification API.
The API can return multiple agency records associated with the submitted PAN, including agent details, insurer information, agency codes, appointment dates and agency status. This helps applications review an agent’s available insurance-sector associations and agency history through a structured API response.
The Insurance Agent Verification API enables applications to retrieve available insurance agent and agency records using a PAN number.
The API response may include the following information, depending on the response received:
PAN associated with the returned agent record.
Agent name and date of birth, where provided.
Insurance category and company associated with the agency record.
Insurer-specific agent or agency reference.
Appointment date recorded for the agency.
Status returned for the agency, such as Inforce or Resigned.
Date associated with the reported status change, where available.
Previous license reference, if returned by the source.
Provide the PAN number for the insurance agent lookup.
Include the required consent flag and consent declaration.
RPACPC processes the request through the configured data source.
The API returns available insurance agent records in an array.
Examine the insurer, agency code, appointment date, and agency status for each returned record.
